AXE FACTS: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is multi-platform video game developed by Lucas Arts. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game will utilize advanced technology such as Digital Molecular Matter (DMM) and the Euphoria Engine to implement a realistic rendition of “The Force” and provide a Star Wars gaming experience on a vastly superior technical level when compared to prior games in the franchise. SW: The Force Unleashed is set between Episodes III and IV and tells the story of Darth Vader’s secret apprentice as he hunts down remaining Jedi.
MY SLICE (The Axe Wielder): While I’m not the biggest Star Wars fan in the world, I’m totally, TOTALLY excited about this game. I think it will be a blast to play and I know that jaded Star Wars fans around the globe deserve the best SW gaming experience since the original Knights of the Old Republic (thank you Bioware!!!). The combat, the story, and the overall atmosphere seem to all be heading in the right direction. I’ll reserve final judgment until the game ships, but yeah…I want to use the FORCE!
